Việt Nam to play powerhouse Japan in U20 futsal champs
Việt Nam are in Group B of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U20 Futsal Championship according to a draw held on March 30 in Bangkok, Thailand.

This is the first time a competition for young players is being held in Asia.
Viet Nam are in the same group with Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Tajikistan and Japan.
There are 21 participants divided into four pots.
Group A have six teams, while the rest have five each.
Teams will compete in a round robin format and the two best ones will advance to the quarter-finals.
The championship will be held on May 16-26 in Bangkok.
