Starting training on the organization of national professional tournaments in 2020
On the morning of 2nd Feb, the meeting about the organization of national professional tournaments in 2020 was held by Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Vietnam Professional Football JSC (VPF) at La Thanh hotel (Hanoi).

This is the annual event that is held before starting a new season to ensure the best preparation for the departments’ activities. This year is the first time the security staff and medical staff of the clubs were invited to join in the training to raise the effectiveness of the match’s organization.
Attending the opening ceremony there were Deputy Minister, VFF President Le Khanh Hai; VFF Permanent Vice President Tran Quoc Tuan; VFF General Secretary Le Hoai Anh; Permanent Member of the VFF Executive Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VPF Tran Anh Tu; VPF Vice managing director Nguyen Trong Hoai; Head of Referee Department Duong Van Hien and the members; the national referee instructors, and the students. Especially, to improve the quality of the referee training, VFF invited Mr. Anaz Hakan – AFC instructor join and share the latest contents of the law and experience about the referee’s works.
Speak at the ceremony, VFF President Le Khanh Hai emphasized the necessity of developing the quality of the organization to ensure a fair environment for the players and clubs. He also stated that Vietnam’s tournaments still have some limits need to change. Due to the key contents in 2020, Mr. Le Khanh Hai argued that all the members, assessors, referees, staff, etc. need to update the new knowledge, actively join in the discussions to apply into the match, thereby making the organization become more professional.
On behalf of the organizer, VFF General Secretary Le Hoai Anh affirmed that the organizer will concentrate to ensure the effectiveness of the training, thereby improve the quality of the professional tournaments’ organization in the new season.
Mr. Dang Thanh Ha – Member of Referee department announced the update contents of FIFA’s competition law 2019/2020
According to the plan, the training program will finish on the 7th of Feb.
Mr. Anaz Hakan – AFC’s instructor discussed the latest competition law and shared the experience in the referee’s work.
VFF Deputy GS Nguyen Minh Ngoc guided the students who are the security staff.
Chief of VFF office Cao Ngoc Cam shared the experiences in the security work.
Instructor Nguyen Hong Son shared the experiences and guided the organization methods.
Professor Le Quy Phuong discussed with the medical staff.
VFF Medical Deputy Director Nguyen Van Phu shared the experience in case of injuries.
The organizer gave the certificate for security staff.
