Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM defends their title in the 2024 National Women’s Futsal Championship
A convincing victory over Phong Phú Hà Nam has helped Thái Sơn Nam successfully defend their title in the 2024 National Women’s Futsal Championship.

Rated as the stronger team, Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM launched an attack from the very beginning of their match against the host team, Phong Phú Hà Nam. In the 4th minute, Đinh Thị Ngọc Hân scored an early goal to put the Southern team ahead. Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM continued to apply significant pressure on Phong Phú Hà Nam’s defense.
In reality, the host team, Phong Phú Hà Nam, played with great effort and their spirit was commendable. However, as the opponents were in high spirits, it was challenging for Phong Phú Hà Nam to hold their ground. In the 16th minute, Lê Thị Thanh Ngân skillfully controlled the ball and scored to make it 2-0 for the visiting team. In the following minutes, Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM had additional opportunities but could not add to their score.
In the second half, Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM played at a moderate pace but effectively capitalized on their opponents’ mistakes. In the 25th minute, Nguyệt Vị stole the ball from a red-shirted player and scored to make it 3-0. Just seconds later, Kiều Thị Hoài Anh seized an opportunity and managed to reduce the score to 1-3 for Phong Phú Hà Nam.
In the remaining minutes of the match, Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM added two more goals, concluding the game with a 5-1 victory. With a 5-point lead over the team in second place, Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM has officially defended their title and secured the championship in the 2024 National Women’s Futsal Championship.
In the 5th round of the 2024 National Women’s Futsal Championship, an exciting clash took place between the two clubs from TP Hồ Chí Minh and Hà Nội. Despite not being a futsal specialist, captain Trần Thị Thùy Trang demonstrated her exceptional skill and irreplaceable role for TP Hồ Chí Minh. In the 2nd minute, Thùy Trang dribbled from her own half, bypassed two opposing defenders, and delivered a powerful shot to open the scoring for TP Hồ Chí Minh.
Despite their confidence from a previous victory, Hà Nội was determined to equalize. In the 9th minute, Quách Thu Em fouled Biện Thị Hằng in the penalty area, and Hà Nội was awarded a penalty. Bùi Thị Thương converted it skillfully to level the score at 1-1.
However, this match was defined by Trần Thị Thùy Trang. In the 16th minute, the veteran midfielder controlled the ball adeptly and delivered a technically brilliant shot to put TP Hồ Chí Minh ahead 2-1. The first half ended with the Southern team in the lead.
In the second half, Hà Nội showed determination to find an equalizer. Unfortunately, Biện Thị Hằng and her teammates lacked the sharpness needed to score another goal. They ended the match with a disappointing 1-2 defeat.
Later that day, at 17:30, the final match featured the hosts, PP Hà Nam, against Thái Sơn Nam TP Hồ Chí Minh. Thái Sơn Nam TP Hồ Chí Minh won decisively with a score of 5-1.
