Pham Thanh Luong receives the Golden Ball title.
With 255 points, Thanh Luong surpassed midfielder Nguyen Van Quyet (Hanoi T&T, 180 points) and Le Cong Vinh (Song Lam Nghe An, 126 points) who were honoured with the Silver and Bronze Ball awards.
In the women’s category, Nguyen Thi Tuyet Dung claimed the top prize after finishing first in the poll with 223 points, 72 and 94 points more than Silver and Bronze Ball winners Dang Thi Kieu Trinh (goalkeeper of Ho Chi Minh City) and Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet (striker of Hanoi) respectively.
Midfielder Nguyen Tuan Anh from Hoang Anh Gia Lai won the ‘best young player’ award meanwhile the women’s title went to striker Le Hoai Luong from Ho Chi Minh City. Becamex Binh Duong’s striker Abass Cheikh Dieng was honoured with the ‘best foreign player’ prize.
The Golden, Silver and Bronze Ball winners were presented respective cash prizes of VND40 million, 30 million and 20 million, while the best young players and the best foreign player received VND20 million each.
