The AFC/VFF ‘B’ Certificate Coaching Course continues with Module 2 implementation

This morning (November 19), The AFC/VFF ‘B’ Certificate Coaching Course continues with Module 2 began in Da Nang City. This module will run for 10 days, from November 19 to November 29, 2024.

This module follows the completion of module 1, which took place from August 10 to August 21, 2024, in Ha Tinh. After finishing module 1, the participants had three months to complete assignments and gain coaching experience before returning to continue with module 2.

Speaking on the first day of module 2, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyễn Tuấn Sinh, Director of the National Defense Sports Center 3, Military Region 5, the host unit of the course, expressed that it was an honor for the center to collaborate with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to organize this course for the first time. “We will do our best to ensure that the coaches have the best conditions for both the theoretical classroom and the training field during the course,” said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyễn Tuấn Sinh.

Mr. Koshida Takeshi, the Technical Director of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and instructor of the course, expressed his gratitude to the leadership and staff of the National Defense Sports Center 3 for their collaboration in organizing the course. He also praised the facilities, both the classrooms and the training fields, at the center. Mr. Koshida Takeshi emphasized that the VFF is making efforts to improve the knowledge and quality of its coaching programs. He encouraged the coaches to focus on their studies and complete their assignments to ensure a successful learning experience, while avoiding injuries.

Accompanying the participants during this phase, instructor Lê Huỳnh Đức expressed his gratitude to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) for their trust and to the National Defense Sports Center 3, Military Region 5, for providing excellent conditions for the course. He also expressed his hope that the participants would study diligently in order to successfully complete the course.

Upon completion of the course, the coaches will need to pass exams covering theory, practical skills, as well as tests in subjects such as sports medicine, the laws of the game, child protection, and goalkeeper training, all evaluated according to AFC standards.
