The announcement ceremony for the 2025 HDBank National Futsal Championship highlighted expectations for exciting surprises
On the morning of February 15, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) in cooperation with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the diamond sponsor HDBank held the announcement ceremony for the 2025 HDBank National Futsal Championship.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Trần Minh Hùng – Deputy General Director of VOV, Vice President of the Vietnam Olympic Committee, and Co-Chairman of the 2025 National Futsal Steering Committee – expressed confidence that with the support of HDBank and the close cooperation between VOV and VFF, along with the experience, professionalism in organizing, and the careful preparation of the participating teams, this season’s tournament will be even more captivating and exciting.
Speaking at the ceremony, VFF General Secretary Nguyễn Văn Phú shared: “The 2025 futsal season marks the 9th consecutive year of collaboration between the Vietnam Football Federation and the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) in organizing the event, and the 9th year that HDBank has been a sponsor for the tournament. The VFF highly appreciates the contributions of VOV and HDBank to the development of futsal in Vietnam, especially in the context of the challenges still facing the domestic futsal scene. The VFF believes that with the efforts in organizing and the thorough preparation of the participating teams, the HDBank National Futsal Championships will continue to receive enthusiastic support from the audience and demonstrate progress in professionalism, creating a highly competitive environment, and identifying more talented players to serve the National Futsal Team in the future.”
According to the plan, the 2025 national futsal tournaments will kick off with the 2025 HDBank National Futsal Championship. This year’s top futsal league in Vietnam will feature 8 teams: Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM, Thái Sơn Bắc, Sahako, Hà Nội, Tân Hiệp Hưng TP.HCM, Sài Gòn Titans TP.HCM, Luxury Hạ Long, and Trẻ TP.HCM. The tournament will take place from February 16 to June 29, following a home-and-away format at two main venues: Cầu Giấy Gymnasium (Hà Nội) and Futsal Club Quận 8 Gymnasium (TP.HCM), promising an exciting and unpredictable race.
In addition to maintaining the round-robin format with two legs to determine the final rankings, this year’s season will continue to apply the rule allowing each club to register one foreign player and one Vietnamese-origin player. This regulation aims to enhance the quality of play and increase competitiveness.

According to information from the organizing committee, 2025 is a milestone year with many significant events in the country. There will be several notable sports events, so VOV and VFF have closely collaborated and carefully arranged the competition schedule in a scientific and reasonable manner. This will ensure that the HDBank Futsal tournaments in general, and the 2025 HDBank National Futsal Championship in particular, are organized in a more systematic, professional, and successful way. At the same time, it will also ensure the best fulfillment of professional tasks for the national futsal team to focus on training and participating in important international tournaments in 2025.
The 2025 season marks the 9th consecutive year that the national futsal tournaments have had HDBank as the Diamond Sponsor, playing a significant role in gradually improving the quality of the competition and encouraging the development of futsal in Vietnam.
All matches of the tournament will be broadcast live across the multi-platform system of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), including VOV, VTCNews, VOVLive, and the Futsal League Vietnam fanpage, along with other media channels of VFF.
