The dormitory of the VYF is upgraded to serve the national teams
This morning (January 27), President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Quoc Tuan visited the dormitory for athletes at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (VYF).
VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan highly appreciated the efforts of specialized units when completing the quality upgrade and putting the dormitory into operation in the early days of 2023 to serve the national teams. In the very first days of 2023, the U20 national team were the first “guests” of the VYF. The team will gather here from January 27 to February 15, 2023, before going to the UAE for training to prepare for the AFC U20 Asian Cup, which will take place in Uzbekistan (from March 19, 2023).
The repair and upgrade of the VYF dormitory for athletes is a plan that has been carefully planned and implemented over a long time with the support from the FIFA. Previously, the dormitory consisted of 19 rooms, each room serving 4 athletes, but based on the updated situation, the VYF Board of Directors proposed and received the support of the VFF Standing Committee to upgrade the dormitory to 4-star standard with 38 rooms, each room serving 2 athletes.
With this condition, the VYF dormitory is ready to better serve the teams gathering on performing national tasks.
