Due to the impact of Super Typhoon Yagi (Typhoon No. 3), the match between the Thailand national team and the Russia national team scheduled for September 7, 2024, at My Dinh National Stadium will not take place. The Russian team will return home as planned (in the early hours of September 8, 2024), while the Thailand team will continue to prepare for their match against the Vietnam national team at 8:00 PM on September 10, 2024, at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.
The cancellation of the match is due to unavoidable circumstances caused by Typhoon Yagi, which affects the playing conditions and does not ensure the safety of the teams, fans, and participants.
The VFF and the organizers appreciate the understanding and support of fans and all relevant parties regarding this decision.
