The opening ceremony of the 2024/25 National U19 Football Championship Final Round
On the afternoon of February 15, at Ba Ria Stadium (Ba Ria Vung Tau), the opening ceremony of the 2024/25 National U19 Football Championship Finals took place, followed by two opening matches of the first round.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Đặng Thanh Hạ – Chairman of the Arbitration Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Mr. Nguyễn Minh Châu – Deputy General Secretary of VFF and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Đinh Hồng Vinh – representative of the organizing unit, as well as representatives from journalists and reporters from various media agencies.
On behalf of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Mr. Nguyễn Minh Châu – Deputy General Secretary of VFF and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, delivered the opening speech, stating: “This tournament is part of the national youth football competition system organized annually by VFF and is considered a valuable platform for young players to compete, gain experience, and hone their skills. Many outstanding players from youth tournaments have been introduced to national youth teams, contributing to the improvement of the quality of young teams. Therefore, VFF always emphasizes investment in the system of youth football tournaments, including the National U19 Football Championship. VFF hopes that this will be a place where the dreams of young players are nurtured, while also contributing to the education of style, ethics, and fostering ambition to create a strong foundation, promoting the development of both the quantity and quality of the next generation of players for clubs and national teams alike.”
The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) believes that the 2025 National U19 Football Championship Finals will deliver exciting and highly competitive matches with high professional quality, continuing to attract the attention of a large number of passionate fans. VFF and the Organizing Committee sincerely thank the active support of the relevant departments and agencies of Ba Ria Vung Tau province, as well as the local organizing committee for their efforts in organizing the event. We also sincerely appreciate the continued support and encouragement from fans and media agencies.
The 2024/25 National U19 Football Championship Finals features 12 teams that achieved outstanding results in the group stage to earn their spot in the finals. The teams are divided into groups, playing a round-robin format with points accumulated. The top two teams from each group and the two best third-place teams will advance to the quarterfinals. The host team, Ba Ria Vung Tau, is in Group A alongside SHB Da Nang, Hanoi FC, and Becamex Binh Duong. Group B includes opponents like Dong Thap, Dong Nai, PVF, and Viettel FC, while Group C features TP.HCM, Binh Phuoc, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, and SLNA. The matches will take place from February 15 to February 28 in Ba Ria Vung Tau.
