The opening of the 2025 Women’s U19 National Football Championship – ACECOOK Cup

On the afternoon of February 9th, the opening ceremony and the first match of the 2025 Women’s U19 National Football Championship – ACECOOK Cup took place at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center.

Attending the opening ceremony of the tournament and watching the match between Hanoi and Than KSVN were: Mrs. Lê Thị Hoàng Yến – Deputy Director of the Sports Authority of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Vũ – Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF); Mr. Đỗ Văn Nhật – Member of the Executive Committee, Chairman of the Women’s Football Committee of VFF; Mr. Trần Huy Đức – Executive Committee Member, Deputy Chairman of the Women’s Football Committee; Mr. Phạm Hải Anh – Member of the Women’s Football Committee of VFF; Mr. Mai Đức Chung – Vice President of the National Coaches Council, Head Coach of the National Women’s Football Team; Mr. Hoàng Anh Tuấn – Member of the VFF Referee Committee; Mr. Nguyễn Văn Phú – Secretary General of VFF; Mr. Koshida Takeshi – Technical Director of VFF. Representing the tournament organizing committee were Mrs. Nguyễn Thanh Hà – Deputy Secretary General of VFF, Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, and Mrs. Trần Thị Bích Liên – Deputy Director of the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, Member of the Organizing Committee. On the side of the sponsors were: Mr. Nguyễn Đức Mẫn – Head of Marketing Department – Hung Yen Branch, Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company, along with representatives from Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company, Dentsu Sports Vietnam Co., Ltd., the Motivational Sports Group, as well as leaders of the football teams, journalists, reporters, television representatives, and a large audience of fans.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Đức Mẫn, Marketing Manager of the Hưng Yên Branch of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company and the main sponsor of the tournament, shared: “Acecook Vietnam is very proud to continue being the main sponsor of the 2025 National U19 Women’s Football Championship – Acecook Cup. The Vietnam Football Federation also sincerely thanks the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center for hosting the first leg of the tournament, and especially expresses gratitude to the teams, the organizing committee members, the supportive fans, as well as the media agencies. “We wish the supervisors, referees, and organizing committee members complete their tasks successfully. We also wish the teams much success,” emphasized Mrs. Nguyễn Thanh Hà.

This year’s tournament features 6 teams: Hanoi, Phong Phú Ha Nam, Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Nguyen T&T, Than Khoang San Vietnam, and Zantino Vinh Phuc. The teams will compete in a round-robin format with two legs, home and away, to determine the overall rankings. The team with the highest total points after all matches will be crowned the champion. The first leg of the tournament will take place at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (Hanoi) from February 9 to February 22, and the second leg will be held at the Ha Nam Stadium (Phu Ly City, Ha Nam) from February 25 to March 11, 2025. The Organizing Committee will livestream selected first-leg matches and games in the second leg on the VFF Channel YouTube channel.
