The PetroVietnam Gas V-League 2009 kick off tomorrow.

The PetroVietnam Gas V-League 2009 consists of 13 rounds and to be held on a home and away round robin basis with the participation of 14 clubs; Becamex Binh Duong,  Nam Dinh, Dong Tam Long An, Xi Mang Cong Thanh Thanh Hoa, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Khatoco Khanh Hoa, SHB Da Nang, Song Lam Nghe An, Ho Chi Minh City FC, The Cong, Xi Mang Hai Phong, Cao Su Dong Thap, Quan Khu 4 and T&T Hanoi. As scheduled, The PetroVietnam Gas V-League 2009 will start from Feb 7 to August 23. 

Defending Champions Becamex Binh Duong

The winner will get VND 700 million (USD 40,000), the runners-up and the third team will get VND 350.000 million (USD 20,000) and VND 150 million (USD 9,000) respectively.

The champion is eligible to attend play off match for AFC Champion League 2010 while 12th-ranking team at the end of the PetroVietnam Gas V-League 2009 will have a play off match with the third one of National First Division League to decide who will be at V-League 2010.
