The Prime Minister sends a congratulatory letter to the Vietnam U23 National Team on winning the ASEAN U-23 Mandiri Cup™ 2025 for the third consecutive time

In his letter, the Prime Minister expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the entire Vietnam U23 national football team, the coaching staff, the Vietnam Football Federation, and football fans across the country following the team’s resounding victory and their third consecutive ASEAN U23 Cup title.

This victory once again affirms the leading position of Vietnamese youth football in the region. It is a clear testament to the bravery, talent, team spirit, and aspiration to reach new heights of the young players proudly wearing the national colors.

The Prime Minister emphasized that throughout the tournament, the players demonstrated resilience, confidence, composure, and strong determination, creating emotional moments that brought faith, pride, and powerful inspiration to millions of Vietnamese people both at home and abroad.

This victory is not only an outstanding sporting achievement but also a symbol of the resilience and relentless efforts of Vietnamese youth – a generation that is continuing to pursue the dream of reaching the continental and global arenas.

The Prime Minister expressed his special thanks to the millions of fans across the country who have always stood by the team, serving as a strong source of support throughout their journey to claim the top title in the U23 regional championship.

Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with relevant agencies to promptly commend and reward the players, coaching staff, and the entire team. He also expressed his hope that the players will continue to train hard, maintain their form, stay united and humble, and further build on the successes they have achieved.
