The U19 team starts the journey towards the AFF U19 Championship 2022
This afternoon (June 6), the U19 national team, under the guidance of head coach Dinh The Nam, had a practice session at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center to prepare for the AFF U19 Championship 2022 in Indonesia next July.

Sharing about the current team, head coach Dinh The Nam said, the force of this U19 team is mainly the players born in 2003, the players born in 2004 are currently in the graduation period. In order to ensure professional quality at the AFF U19 tournament, this week, the coaching assistants will continue to propose an additional list of players for the U19 team.
“We have less than a month to prepare for this tournament. However, the coaching assistants will try to motivate the players to practice more carefully. The coaching assistants is also planning friendly matches,” said coach Dinh The Nam.
Evaluating the upcoming tournament in Indonesia, head coach Dinh The Nam shared his plan to analyze and research the play style, strengths and weaknesses of the opponents, from which to come up with appropriate plans for the upcoming campaign.
This gathering period of the U19 national team is divided into two phases: Phase 1, from June 2 to June 30, training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center; Phase 2, from July 1 to July 15, moves to Indonesia to attend the AFF U19 Championship 2022.
