The Vietnam Beach Football Team had another useful training camp

On the afternoon of March 10th, during their training camp in preparation for the 2025 AFC Beach Soccer Championship, the Vietnam Beach Football Team played their second friendly match against Imane Beach Soccer Club (Thailand).

In order to support the professional work, the coaching staff made several tactical and personnel experiments. Meanwhile, unlike their 3-4 loss to the Vietnam team in the first friendly match on March 8th, Imane Beach Soccer Club showcased a strong cohesion typical of Thailand’s top beach football team and won 6-1.

Recently, Coach Mai Văn Đức and his players have been maintaining a training schedule of two sessions per day. In addition to specialized training, the coaching staff has provided opportunities for the players to improve their fitness in order to ensure they can compete at a high intensity when facing strong Asian opponents. Coach Mai Văn Đức stated that through the training process and friendly matches, the coaching staff will review the team, assess each player’s form, and build the strongest possible lineup for the tournament.

According to the plan, the Vietnam team will have one more match against Imane Beach Soccer Club on March 12th. Before departing for Thailand to compete in the 2025 AFC Beach Soccer Championship, Coach Mai Văn Đức will reduce the roster to 12 players.
