Semi Final between Becamex Binh Duong FC (Vietnam) and Boeung Ket Angkor FC (Campuchia)

Becamex Binh Duong FC emerged champions in last year’s edition of the tournament against Myanmar’s Ayeyawady United FC and Nguyễn Thanh Sơn (Head coach of Binh Duong Becamex FC) side will be looking to cement a return to the final. “In order to prepare for Semi Final of Mekong Club Championship 2015, Becamex Binh Duong FC have been training in Nha Trang from 18 November to 29 November. At the moment, our squad is fit and ready for the game. Besides, we are also on trial for 2 new players from Netherlands. Our objective is to try and win the semi final match to reach the Final against Champions of Toyota League Cup.” said Nguyễn Thanh Sơn, Becamex Binh Duong Head Coach.

Meanwhile, in qualified round held from Nov 1^st until Nov 29^th 2015 in Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia, representative of Cambodia, Boeung Ket Angkor FC has excellent pass 2 representatives of Laos and Myanmar, Lao Toyota and Yangon United, to take the ticket to the semi final.

After their victory over Yangon United FC, Boeung Ket Angkor FC’s head coach Prak Sovannara shared that, “We gave a great performance in today’s game. We were strong and disciplined throughout the squad, but especially dangerous in attack. We haven’t begun to plan for Vietnam yet but we will be ready, that’s for sure.” Coach Sovannara continued by saying that, “Our players played a good game today, especially our attacking three. They say Messi, Suarez and Neymar, well we have our own here. Our midfield to forward play was good and we got the goals we needed.” The coach added that, “Next it’s onto Vietnam for the semis.”

• 3 matches were held from 1/11 to 29/11/2015 in Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia among three clubs Lao Toyota FC (Laos), Yangon United FC (Myanmar) and Boeung Ket Angkor FC (Cambodia). Boeung Ket Angkor FC from Cambodia had a ticket to the semi final.

• Semi final match will be held on Dec 06^th 2015 in Hang Day Stadium – Hanoi: between 2 clubs Boeung Ket Angkor FC, representative of Cambodia and Becamex Binh Duong FC, representative of Vietnam

• The final match took place on Dec 20^th 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand, between the winner of the semi final and the Buriram United FC representative of Thailand.

ACTIVITIES TO ATTRACT SPECTATOR  IN VIETNAM:

Besides the semifinal match, all football fans who come to Hang Day stadium will have the opportunity to attend lucky draw programs with lottery numbers printed on the tickets, which will be held during the pre-match timing and during the half time.
