Towards the 31st SEA Games: Vietnam women’s futsal team goes to Bahrain for training
On the evening of April 20, the Vietnamese women’s futsal team took a flight from Tan Son Nhat airport to Bahrain, starting a 10-day training camp to prepare for the 31st SEA Games held in Vietnam.
The flight of Truong Quoc Tuan’s team took off at 23:55 and is expected to land at 07:30 am on April 21 (local time). During the training camp, the Vietnamese women’s futsal team will have four friendly matches against the Bahrain women’s futsal team on April 23, 25, 27 and 28. At the end of the training camp, the whole team took a flight to Hanoi on April 30, then moved to Ha Nam – the venue for the 31st SEA Games futsal.
Before leaving for Bahrain, the coaching assistants of the Vietnamese women’s futsal team reduced the list from 22 players to 18. Four players were not on the training camp, including goalkeepers Dinh Nguyen Ngoc Linh, Nguyen Thi Lan, Dinh Thi Duyen and Nguyen Kieu Diem. In which, Dinh Thi Duyen and Kieu Diem will return to the locality, while Ngoc Linh and Nguyen Thi Lan will stay to practice with Thai Son Nam Women’s Club in District 8 in case any players of the team get injured or positive with Covid-19.
