U16 Vietnam begins their first training session in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia (China)
On the afternoon of May 26, after settling into their accommodation in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia (China), the Vietnam U16 national team held their first training session in preparation for their opening match at the CFA Team China U16 International Tournament 2025.
Head coach Cristiano Roland expressed his satisfaction with the quality of the training ground arranged by the organizers. The pitch is conveniently located just about 15 minutes away from the team’s hotel by bus, making it ideal for the players’ training schedule. The weather in Hohhot is also favorable, with temperatures ranging from 23 to 28 degrees Celsius, creating good conditions for the team to acclimate and adapt.
Before the training session, head coach Cristiano Roland outlined the training schedule to the entire team, emphasizing the importance of self-discipline and professionalism both on and off the pitch. Although the tournament is friendly in nature, the Brazilian coach reminded the players to maintain a serious attitude, stay focused, and give their best whenever they have the honor of wearing the national jersey, striving for the best possible result in every match.
According to the schedule, on the morning of May 27, head coach Cristiano Roland will attend the pre-match press conference ahead of the opening round of the CFA Team China U16 International Tournament. In the afternoon, the team will have a familiarization training session at the Football Channel stadium.
At the CFA Team China U16 International Tournament 2025, Vietnam U16 will face U16 Australia in their opening match on May 28, take on U16 China on May 30, and play against U16 Saudi Arabia on June 1.
