U17 Vietnam actively starts a new routine, towards the 2023 AFC Asian Cup U17 Qualifier
Although there are not enough players due to the schedule of the final round of the National U17 Championship K-Elec 2022, the U17 Vietnam is still actively starts a new routine, towards the 2023 AFC Asian Cup U17 Qualifier.
To prepare for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup U17 Qualifier, the U17 Vietnam with a list of 31 players gathered at the PVF Center. In this list, in addition to the previous players who have showed their ability to compete in the 2022 AFF U16 Championship, head coach Nguyen Quoc Tuan also selected and added a number of players with excellent performance at the youth tournaments recently.
Although there are not enough players, head coach Nguyen Quoc Tuan still implements a training plan for the group of players present at the PVF Center in order to maintain the rhythm of movement and strengthen the physical foundation.
According to the plan, the U17 Vietnam will practice at PVF Center until September 13 and will go to Japan for training within 2 weeks. During the training period in Japan, the team will be arranged a number of matches against each other. On September 26, the team will return to the country to complete the final preparation before entering the 2023 AFC Asian Cup U17 Qualifier.
According to the draw results, the U17 Vietnam is in Group F along with Thailand, Chinese Taipei and Nepal. The matches will take place from October 5 to October 9, 2022 at Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho.
