VFF 8th Executive Committee’s 8th convention: Concentrate on the key missions at the end of 2021
Due to the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic, Hanoi as well as some provinces and cities are implementing the Decision 16th of Government, therefore, the convention was online.

The convention had the engagements of 15 in total 16 members of the committee, head of the function committees such as inspection committee, judicial committee, etc., president of National Coach Committee, CEO of VPF, and VFF Board of General Secretariat (to report the work in the Convention).
In 2021, Vietnamese Football has faced many difficulties due to the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, members of the Vietnamese football family always respond and unity to proactively build up the plans and solutions to resolve the issues.
Speaking at the convention, on behalf of the VFF Permeance Executive Committee, VFF President Le Khanh Hai thanked the members for the responsibilities in a management role to direct and approve important content, thereby develop Vietnamese football to having the first time to join the World Cup 2022 3rd Asian Qualifier, as well as the second time, join in the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021. This achievement was appreciated by Government and Vietnamese fans. Defense the success is general responsibility, hence, the discussion to organize the national tournaments in this difficult time is extremely important for the key missions at the end of 2021 and forward to the action plan of 2022.
Based on the approved program, the convention discussed and voted for the key contents:
– Report on the work of the first 6 months of the year and implement the tasks and plans for the last 6 months of VFF;
– Action plan for national teams who are training for the upcoming international competition to ensure the best preparation;
– Due to the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the committee assigned VPF to organize an online meeting with clubs to discuss the stop of national professional tournaments in 2021; assigned the VFF Board of General Secretariat to report the plans while having the decision to ensure the systems of tournaments in 2022;
– Approve the organization of the football 7-a-size national championship since 2022;
– Follow and direct to ensure the financial task of VFF;
– Concentrate on the organization of the national team’s matches in Vietnam (Hanoi), ensure the prevention of COVID-19 pandemic as well as the safety of the matches.
