VFF Acting President Tran Quoc Tuan attended the 10th AFC Executive Committee meeting
On May 7, the Executive Committee of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) held the 10th meeting in both face-to-face and online platform, chaired by AFC President Salman Bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa. Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan – VFF Acting President attended as a member of the AFC Executive Committee.
In the beginning of the meeting, AFC President Salman Bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of member associations in coordinating with AFC, ensuring the organization of almost all tournaments. important role of Asian football in 2022. Attending the meeting, VFF Acting President Tran Quoc Tuan said, with recognition for the efforts of member federations, AFC President Salman Bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa and the Executive Committee The AFC Executive Committee unanimously approved the decision of the AFC Development Board on two new development programmes. These are the Advantage Programme and the Extra-Time Programme – further reinforces our commitment to our members. These programmes will be complemented by the Enhance Programmes launched just six months ago. Both Extra-Time and Advantage are customised and designed for our aspiring and developing members.
The AFC Executive Committee also agreed that the 33rd AFC Congress will be held on February 1 and 2, 2023, in Bahrain with further details to be communicated once finalised.
