VFF Acting President visit FIFA Office in Paris

In the meeting, FIFA President and AFC President welcome Acting President Tran Quoc Tuan and the VFF delegation coming to the FIFA office in Paris. During the discussion, FIFA President and AFC President appreciated the recent development of Vietnamese football, become one of the top developed South East Asian federations by the cooperation with top federations such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Japan, Korea, etc. as well as starting to connect with German Federation and next will be France Federation.

FIFA President emphasied the role of creative thinking and cooperation in the opportunities for national teams to have training camps and competition with developed football, thereby raising the quality of the teams and having outstanding achievements in the continental (2 times futsal teams joining in FIFA Futsal World Cup 2016/2021, the men’s national team qualified to the third round of FIFA World Cup 2022, the women’s team qualified FIFA World Cup 2023…).

FIFA President Gianni Infantino affirmed to continue to support the members, particularly Vietnam Federation. FIFA President showed interest in the cooperation with Vietnam Federation to organise the FIFA events in Vietnam, as well as appreciated the solutions of Vietnam FF recently.

The FIFA President pledged to continue to support the development of Vietnamese football through FIFA’s development projects, contributing to helping Vietnamese football successfully implement football development strategies in the coming period, to bring Vietnamese football to the FIFA World Cup as soon as possible.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino also thanked and appreciated the support of the Vietnam government for the development of Vietnamese football. FIFA President hopes that the government continues to support football with new developments and new successes.

On behalf of VFF’s Executive Committee, VFF Acting President thanked FIFA and AFC for the support to members, particularly VFF, especially the development facility projects and camping opportunities for national teams. The support of FIFA and AFC helped Vietnamese football to improve the qualification of training camps, and contribute the better achievement in international competition.

VFF Acting President Tran Quoc Tuan appreciated the cooperation between FIFA, AFC, and units.

Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan also hoped Vietnamese football with continue to have the support of FIFA and AFC in the development journey and also believed that under the leadership of FIFA and AFC, world football will more and more successful.

Acting President Tran Quoc Tuan assumed the establishment FIFA office in Paris was a suitable decision for FIFA because this is a central city in Europe and has many international agencies. This will be a part to increase the connection between FIFA and international football agencies, as well as helping world football to have more meaningful projects in the upcoming time.
