VFF discusses with DFL on the cooperation to develop football
In the afternoon of Oct 20, VFF accompanied VPF, Next Media to have the webinar with Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) on the development projects of Vietnamese Football.
VFF’s delegation included Mr. Cao Van Chong – Vice President; Mr. Tran Anh Tu – Member of Emerg. Meeting and President VPF; Mr. Le Hoai Anh – General Secretary; Mrs. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Deputy General Secretary. On behalf of VPF, there was Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – General Director. On the Next Media’s side, there were Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien – General Director; Mr. Do Thanh Tung – Deputy General Director; Mr. Tran Hung – Deputy Director; Mrs. Do Phuong Chi – Head of Media Right & Partnership.
On the DFL’s side, there was Mr. Robert Klein – CEO of Bundesliga International; Mr. Marcel Frei – Officer International Affairs; Mr. Kevin Sim – Head of APAC; Mr. Dennis Kittel – Manager Marketing and Sales.
In the meeting, the parties focused on discussing professional issues, sharing training experiences, developing coach and player capacity, organizing tournaments and licensing clubs, as well as applying technologies on training and competition.
Speaking at the meeting, VFF Vice President Cao Van Chong thanked the cooperation of the parties to develop the partnership between Vietnamese football and German football with positive current results. “German football is one of the best football in the world, Bundesliga and clubs always at the forefront of operating the professional football model”.
“Recent, the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam has almost been controlled, the society is coming back with the “new normal situation”, some non-professional tournaments and football events will come back soon. Through these projects, VFF believes the partnership with German Football will grow up day by day” – Vice President Cao Van Chong.
