VFF organizes AFC Grassroots Football Festival 2024 in Thanh Hoa
On the afternoon of May 18, at Viet Hung Football Center, Thanh Hoa city, some activities took place in response to the AFC Grassroots Football Festival 2024 (Grassroots Football Day), organized by VFF, with the participation of 180 children of Thanh Hoa SOS Village.

Attending the event were Mr. Luu Quang Dien Bien – Director of Grassroots, Coaching Education and Affiliated MAs of VFF; Nguyen Duy Tu – Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Pham Cam Hung – Vice President and General Secretary of Thanh Hoa Football Federation; Luu Van Manh – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Viet Hung Sport Company; Dai Sy Nam – Deputy General Director of Dong A Thanh Hoa; La Manh Tuong – Director of Viet Hung; Nguyen Huu Thuan, Deputy Director of SOS Children’s Villages Thanh Hoa.
In addition, there was also former national women’s player Do Thi Ngoc Cham – Grassroots Ambassador of the movement, and 180 young players from SOS Children’s Village Thanh Hoa.
With the guidance of former player Ngoc Cham, young “players” spent an exciting and interesting afternoon. During the activities in response to the AFC Grassroots Football Festival 2024, the children were truly immersed in the ball, showing off their skills in their favorite sport.
The football exchange is not only community-based, but also spreads passion and dreams to partly eliminate barriers and disadvantages of the children, helping them learn more valuable lessons in life. about discipline, team spirit, social integration and the ability to be independent in the future.
Also at the AFC Grassroots Football Festival 2024, representatives of the Vietnam Football Federation donated 180 sets of clothes and football training equipment to children here.
