VFF prepares for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021
Even facing difficulties due to the fast-changing of COVID-19 pandemic, VFF still tries to have the best preparation for Vietnam Futsal Team joining in the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021.

This is the second time Vietnam joining in this competition while defeating the Lebanon team at the play-offs.
However, this time, the preparation faces many challenges due to the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s required VFF to quickly make a preparation plan for the team of head coach Pham Minh Giang, in which, there are the solutions to organise the second leg of Futsal HDBank Championship 2021.
For this tournament, VFF will continue to follow reality and have suitable adjustments. Meanwhile, the plan for FIFA Futsal World Cup 2021 almost adapts the professional requirements.
Vietnam Futsal team will gather on Aug 02 with 22 players and practice until Aug 25, before travelling to Spain and joining a friendly tournament here. This tournament will take place from Aug 28 to Aug 31 with the participation of Vietnam, Japan, Guatemala, and host Spain. After this tournament, the team will have another friendly match with Cordoba FC on Sep 03, before moving to Lithuania. As the plan, the Vietnam team will have a friendly match with Maroc in Lithuania on Sep 06.
According to the draw result, Vietnam is in Group D with Brazil, Czech Republic, and Panama.
Vietnam will play Brazil in their first group stage match on Sep 13, before the match with Panama on Sep 16, and the Czech Republic on Sep 19.
