The matches of FIFA World Cup 2022 Asia Qualifier were allowed 30% spectator in the stadium. This is the decision of AFC on Jun 01, after discussion with the host organisation and participant teams.
02/06/2021 09:23:49According to that, AFC allowed 30% of spectators to go inside the stadium, the detail number will depend on the situation of each field. In which, for the match without home team UAE, the tickets will be divided into 2 participant teams. Meanwhile, in the match of home team UAE, the maximum ticket for the away team’s spectator is 10%.
On behalf of VFF, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan said that: “This is great news for Vietnam fan as well as football fan in general. Playing with the cheers is a big motivation for Vietnam team”.
However, AFC and host organisation also required spectators to ensure the prevention of COVID-19. The spectator needs to take the COVID-19 vaccination and has a negative result of the RT-PCR test in 48 hours before going inside the stadium. They also need to keep physical distance, wear a face mask, check body temperature, and not allow spectators under 16 years old.
Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan affirmed that the rule and guidance are necessary to ensure the safety of everyone during the pandemic.
“The team is having high spirit. They are proactive to follow the guidance of the prevention of COVID-19 and work as plan. VFF has prepared the favorable condition for the national teams included the futsal team and men’s team. We believe the best preparation will create the best success”. Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan shared.
