To support the clubs, the Licensing Administration Department has recently collaborated with specialized departments such as the Sports Medicine Department and the VFF Office to organize training courses on anti-doping and the prevention of corruption in sports. These activities have produced positive results, particularly in the registration of club medical staff.

Also this afternoon, the First Instant Body reviewed the 2024 Youth Football Development Program reports submitted by the clubs, as well as the assessment and survey reports on the quality of youth development programs from five clubs: Phù Đổng Ninh Bình, Đông Á Thanh Hóa, Hải Phòng, Nam Định, and Thể Công Viettel.

Committee members and the Licensing Administration Department also presented reports, held discussions, and conducted reviews regarding the implementation of club licensing criteria. These criteria include: Sporting, Infrastructure, Financial, Legal, and Administrative & Personnel standards.

Accordingly, the First Instant Body requested the Licensing Administration Department to thoroughly review the completion of club licensing criteria. In cases where clubs fail to meet the required standards, they will not be proposed for licensing to participate in the competitions.

As scheduled, on May 14, 2025, the First Instant Body will make the final decision on club licensing for participation in the AFC Club Competitions for the 2025/26 season through the online licensing system.
