Women's Futsal National Team

VFF’s Vice President Mr. Trần Anh Tú met with and encouraged the Vietnam Women’s Futsal National Team.

On the afternoon of January 10th, Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation, Mr. Trần Anh Tú, met with and motivated the Vietnam Women’s Futsal National Team in Ho Chi Minh City before they departed for Myanmar to participate in the 2025 AFC Women’s Futsal Championship qualifiers.

On behalf of the Vietnam Football Federation, Vice President Trần Anh Tú praised the team’s dedication during over a month of training at the Thái Sơn Nam Gymnasium in Ho Chi Minh City. He advised the team to temporarily set aside their recent victory at the 2024 ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship and focus on the 2025 AFC Women’s Futsal Championship qualifiers with the highest level of spirit and expertise. Mr. Trần Anh Tú emphasized that the Vietnam Women’s Futsal National Team should uphold the spirit of unity, just like the Vietnamese men’s team, in order to achieve success. He pointed out that the Vietnam National Team won the 2024 AFF Cup due to their strong team cohesion, stating, “Only unity can overcome all difficulties and obstacles.” Therefore, Vice President Trần Anh Tú affirmed that with this spirit of unity, and the current strength of the team, the Vietnam Women’s Futsal National Team has the ability to top the group and secure a spot in the 2025 AFC Women’s Futsal Championship finals.

On behalf of the entire team, player Thanh Hằng pledged to give their best performance in pursuit of the highest goal. The captain of the Vietnam Women’s Futsal National Team expressed that, with a month of thorough preparation in both physical conditioning and tactical training, the team is confident in participating in the 2025 AFC Women’s Futsal Championship qualifiers and aims to win in order to top the group.

During their month of preparation in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Women’s Futsal National Team played two friendly matches against the men’s futsal players. This provided an opportunity for Coach Nguyễn Đình Hoàng to review the team’s personnel and tactics. According to the plan, the Vietnam Women’s Futsal National Team will depart for Myanmar on January 13th.
