Vietnam futsal team drew with Bangkok BTS club in the second friendly match in Thailand
Today (March 28), Vietnam futsal team had the second friendly match in the training camp preparing for the 2022 Southeast Asian futsal championship. The opponent of head coach Pham Minh Giang’s team is the Bangkok BTS Futsal Club.
This is the club that won 3rd place at the 2021 Futsal Thai League and has two faces who are playing for the Thai Futsal team to prepare for the 2022 AFF Futsal Championship, goalkeepers Katawut Hankhampha and Fixo Tanachot Sawsawaeng, so it is considered a very high quality chance for Vietnam Futsal team.
The first half took place with an open game, both teams created many scoring opportunities, but only Vietnam Team took advantage of the opportunity and converted it into a goal. In the 8th minute, from the situation of escaping pressing at home, Pham Duc Hoa had a long pass to the corner of the pitch for Thinh Phat pivot, he controlled it neatly and launched a left shot to break the narrow corner to beat the goalkeeper of the team.
The remaining time of the half, the two teams consecutively organized a tit-for-tat attack but no more goals were scored thanks to the excellence of both goalkeepers.
At the beginning of the second half, the Bangkok BTS players continued to push the tempo of the game up with quick attack combinations, and achieved results with a beautiful goal-scoring phase from a fixed free kick at the 24th minute, the score was 1-1. This score remained the same until the end of the game, despite countless opportunities created.
After two friendly matches, perhaps the biggest problem of Vietnam Team at the moment is still the ability to finish. Hopefully, head coach Pham Minh Giang and the team will make timely adjustments and improve better through rehearsals in the next friendly match, thereby gaining the necessary confidence when officially entering the competition at 2022 AFF Futsal Championship.
