Vietnam maintained the top of ASEAN in FIFA Ranking May 2021

In the region, the 2nd place in Thailand (96th), following by Philippines (125th), Myanmar (139th), Malaysia (153rd), Singapore (159th), Indonesia (173rd), Cambodia (174th), Laos (185th), and Timor-Leste (196th).

In May, due to the effect of Covid-19, almost all teams didn’t have an international match or just gather. Some international friendly matches that had just been organized did not count by FIFA. Japan still on top of Asia with 1509 points, following by Iran, Korea, Australia, Qatar… The only change in ranking is the interchange between Bahrain (98th) and Kyrgyzstan (99th).

Meanwhile, in the top 10, Belgium maintains 1st place, following by France, Brazil, England, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Argentina, Uruguay, and Denmark.

The ranking of June may have much change when the international competitions come back such as EURO, World Cup Qualifier,… Vietnam will have much change if have a good result in the FIFA World Cup 2022 Asian Qualifier.
