Vietnam Men’s national team arrived in Riyadh and was ready for the first training session
On the early morning of Aug 28, the men’s national team traveled from Hanoi to Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) for the first match of the FIFA World Cup 2022 3rd Asian Qualifier. After a long journey and a transit in Doha (Qatar), the team of head coach Park Hang-seo arrived in Saudi Arabia and started the training session.

This journey took the team 6 hours to arrive in Doha (Qatar) then continued to flight by a special aircraft set by Saudi Arabia Football Federation (SAFF). Goalkeeper Dang Van Lam joined the team in Doha after the flight from Osaka.
After 1 hour of traveling by aircraft, the team arrived in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and was welcomed by the host. To ensure the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic as the regulation of AFC, the team went by 2 buses, 1 truck, and 1 van. The team stays in Gardino hotel which is 30 minutes from the airport.
The members took the RT-PCR test in the hotel, after having the result, the team starts the first training session at 8 p.m.
To provide the best condition for the team, VFF sent 2 officers coming before 2 days as well as working with the hotel to ensure the daily meal of the team as the requirement of the doctor.
