Vietnam National team confident forward to the semi-final with Thailand
In the afternoon of Dec 20, Vietnam national team backed to the training field to prepare for the match with Thailand in the semi-final of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2020.

In the group stage, Vietnam national team had four undefeated matches with 3 wins and 1 draw. Especially, the Vietnam team is the final team that kept the net clean and is one of 3 teams that has the highest goal difference with Thailand and Indonesia (+9). However, because of the total goals, the Vietnam team finished the group stage as the runner-up of group B and will play against the winner of Group A Thailand in the semi-final.
Head coach Park Hang-seo and the coaching assistants proactively plan for the opponents that Vietnam is likely to face in the semi-finals.
After the group stage, head coach Park Hang-seo remained the team to relax and focus on the upcoming mission. The team has 3 days before the first leg of the semi-final, so the important thing is the recorver of players and having a good performance.
This is the reason why in the training session, Mr.Park focused on the recovery lesson, especially with the players who played in the last matches. The substitute players continued to practice the tactics.
The team had a visit site at Singapore National Stadium to have an overview of the competition space. The players’ spirit was also good and confident about the next match on Dec 23.
