Vietnam team is actively training and correcting mistakes in preparation for their next friendly match against Daegu FC
On the morning of November 28th, the Vietnam national football team returned to the training field to prepare for their upcoming friendly match against Daegu FC from K.League 1.
According to Coach Kim Sang Sik’s assessment, the players performed quite well in meeting the requirements set for the friendly match against Ulsan Citizen FC the day before. Through this match, the coaching staff also gained additional information and data regarding player positions on the field, allowing them to focus on addressing the weaknesses in the team’s playing style.
With that in mind, during the training session, Coach Kim Sang Sik and his assistants prioritized adjusting tactics and addressing the mistakes revealed in the previous match. The South Korean coach worked almost tirelessly throughout the session, patiently correcting his players on even the smallest details. He emphasized that every pass and every combination of play should align with the tactical plan, aiming for simplicity and maximum efficiency.
In the afternoon of the same day, the entire team continued their physical training in the gym under the guidance of French fitness expert Cedric Roger. Improving the players’ physical fitness is also a key focus during the training camp in South Korea, as the team prepares for the 2024 AFF Championship.
Tomorrow afternoon (November 29th), the national team will have their next friendly match against Daegu FC. This is a much stronger opponent compared to Ulsan Citizen FC, so it promises to be a valuable test for the Vietnam national team.
