On the afternoon of December 17, Vietnam Team entered the first training session in Laos, preparing for the opening match of the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022.

The team’s training session took place at the training ground located within the Lao National Stadium, about 30 minutes by bus from the team hotel. This is also a good quality training ground under the management of the Lao Football Federation and has just been put into use. The space of the training ground is airy and helps the players feel excited.
Weather conditions in Vientiane at this time are relatively pleasant. The players also did not have much difficulty adapting. However, the wind blowing is quite strong and continuous, so it is a little bit affects the movement of the ball.
The good news is that in this afternoon’s training session the team did not have any players to practice separately. Previous cases such as Van Hau, and Hoang Duc were also able to join the general lesson plan of the whole team. Midfielder Quang Hai just returned from France but caught up with the team wheel very quickly. This is also understandable because Quang Hai is one of the players with the most seniority in the team under head coach Park Hang Seo, so he understands the philosophy of the Korean coach.
According to the plan, the team will maintain a practice density of 1 session per day. On December 20, Park Hang Seo’s team will have a familiarization session with the main stadium, completing the final preparation before entering the match against Laos.
