Following what was largely a disappointing outing in Belgium last week, the Vietnam national Under-19 team is in France to shore up their European tour.
They had opened their campaign in Belgium with a 3-1 loss to JMG Academy Global before coming back with a 4-2 victory over Montverde Academy.
“I’m satisfied with the performance of the players. I hope that the several injured players will recover soon and join the lineup for the coming matches,” said coach Guillaume Graechen.
The team’s first match in France would be against a youth side from Lille.
