Vietnam women’s futsal team has entered the TOP 10 in the world according to the Futsalplanet rankings

With an impressive performance in 2024, the Vietnam women’s futsal team has excellently entered the TOP 10 National Women’s Futsal Teams, standing alongside top teams in the world such as Brazil, Iran, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Uzbekistan, Finland, U20 Colombia, and New Zealand. This is the first time a Vietnamese futsal team has achieved this accomplishment in the annual awards organized by Futsalplanet, one of the most reputable organizations in the world for futsal.
In 2024, the Vietnam women’s futsal team won two championships, including the Southeast Asia Championship and the Thailand International Futsal Tournament, along with a silver medal at the international tournament in China. These achievements have helped the Vietnam women’s futsal team make a strong mark on the world futsal map.
With his achievements in leading the Vietnam women’s futsal team to win the 2024 ASEAN Championship, the 2024 Thailand International Futsal Tournament, and secure the runner-up position at the 2024 China International Futsal Tournament, Head Coach Nguyễn Đình Hoàng has been honored by Futsalplanet as one of the nominees for the TOP 10 “Best Women’s Futsal National Team Coaches” in the world for 2024. Coach Nguyễn Đình Hoàng will compete alongside a series of renowned coaches from countries such as Brazil, Spain, Iran, Italy, and others.
It is known that the results for the Best Women’s Futsal National Team Coach category will be announced by Futsalplanet in February.
Earlier, in December 2024, the Vietnam women’s futsal team and Coach Nguyễn Đình Hoàng were also featured in the list of outstanding athletes and coaches for 2024 by Vietnam Sports.
