Viet Nam ready for U20 Champs

Coach Nguyen Manh Cuong has called up 23 players to compete in the Asian U20 Football Championships, to be held next Saturday at HCM City”s Thanh Long Sports Centre.

The three goalkeepers chosen were Tran Minh Phuong from Da Nang, Tran Anh Duc from The Cong Viettel and Thanh Long”s Nguyen Thanh Nam.

Trieu Quang Trung of T&T Ha Noi and Hoa Phat Ha Noi”s Ta Anh Tung were not named on the list due to injuries.

The team played two friendly matches with Military Zone 7 and Dong Tam Long An on Wednesday.

Viet Nam will compete in group G together with Australia, Indonesia, South Korea and Guam.
