Works start on grass grounds for young footballers

Works started on December 25 at the My Dinh National Sports Complex to grow grasses on three football grounds.

The 5.1 billion VND (over 318,000 USD) project is expected to be completed in mid 2008 to help train young footballers.

The grasses were imported from the US with a view to creating an environment at international standard for the trainees, according to the Viet Nam Football Federation.
