VFF leaders meet and encourage U16 Vietnam girl team before the friendly tournament in Türkiye
This morning (April 8) at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, VFF’s Vice President Tran Anh Tu and General Secretary Duong Nghiep Khoi met and encouraged the spirit of the U16 Vietnam girl team before the whole team leaves for Türkiye to participate in a friendly tournament organized by UEFA.
On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation, Vice President Tran Anh Tu sent the encouragement to the players, encouraging U16 Vietnam girl team to confidently compete with the highest spirit of determination and do their best while facing upcoming strong opponents. General Secretary Duong Nghiep Khoi also advised the team of important notes before entering the tournament, and encouraged the spirit of coach Akira Iriji and players.
Responding to the concern of the leaders of VFF, the U16 Vietnam girl team also affirmed their determination in the upcoming tournament.
At 1:30 a.m. tomorrow (April 9), U16 Vietnam girl team will leave for Türkiye. The tournament is organized by UEFA to create a playground for players from countries and continents around the world to interact and interact. In the group stage, U16 Vietnam girl team is in Group A with U16 Botswana, the United States and host Türkiye. Group B includes 4 teams from China, Paraguay, Uganda and Wales.
To prepare for this tournament, coach Akira Ijiri and the team have gathered since March 19 and practiced at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center for the past 3 weeks.
