Compared to the previous ranking period, the Vietnam women’s national team remains unchanged in position, continuing to affirm its leading status in Southeast Asian women’s football. At the Asian level, the team is still among the higher-ranked sides and remains one of the continent’s most promising representatives.

In Southeast Asia, the Vietnam women’s national team continues to lead the region. Right behind are the Philippines, ranked 39th in the world with 1,566 points. Thailand’s women’s national team rose one place to 49th in the world with 1,485 points, while Myanmar sits in 55th place with 1,461 points.

Notably, the Cambodia women’s national team recorded the strongest progress in the region, climbing four places to reach 113th in the world. On the other hand, Indonesia dropped four places to 110th, Malaysia fell three places to 95th, while Laos also declined by four positions. Singapore rose one place to 151st in the world, while Timor Leste is ranked 158th. Brunei’s women’s national team is still unranked in the FIFA standings.

Maintaining the No.1 position in Southeast Asia reflects the stability of the Vietnam women’s national team amid increasingly intense regional competition. This also provides a solid foundation for Vietnam to pursue key objectives in the coming period, continuing to assert its position on both the continental and international stage.
