AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup: Stage set for China 2027 Qualifiers
Kuala Lumpur: The AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup™ China 2027 is all set for take off following the conclusion of the Qualifiers Draw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday.
Each group winner will advance to the Finals, joining the quartet of teams that have qualified directly as the top four finishers from the 2026 campaign: defending champions DPR Korea, runners-up Japan, and semi-finalists Australia and China PR.
Standing in top seeds Chinese Taipei way in Group C will be Islamic Republic of Iran, Laos (H) and Cambodia while Vietnam (H), Kyrgyz Republic, Northern Mariana Islands and Palestine are the Group D cast.
India headline Group E, with Malaysia (H), Syria and Iraq their challengers while Thailand (H), Lebanon, Macau and Bhutan will vie for the sole ticket available in Group F.
Group G will see Myanmar (H), Hong Kong, China and Guam battling it out while Group H will be contested by the Philippines, Bangladesh and Uzbekistan (H).
The top four finishers at the tournament will represent Asia at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2027.
