HCMC Women’s FC receive Fair Play Award at the AFC Women’s Champions League 2025/26

At the awards ceremony held in Suwon, South Korea following the AFC Women’s Champions League 2025/26 final between Tokyo Verdy Beleza and Naegohyang FC, HCMC Women’s FC were honoured with the tournament’s Fair Play Award. The accolade recognises the Vietnamese club’s professionalism, unity and positive image demonstrated throughout their campaign on the continental stage.

In the group stage, HCMC Women’s FC were drawn in Group A alongside Melbourne City (Australia), Stallion Laguna (Philippines) and Lion City Sailors (Singapore). The Vietnamese representatives advanced to the quarter-finals as group runners-up following determined performances and a resilient fighting spirit. Their continued presence in the knockout stage of the AFC Women’s Champions League reflects the steady progress of HCMC Women’s FC as well as the growing stature of Vietnamese women’s football on the continental stage.

Beyond their on-field achievements, the Fair Play Award stands as well-deserved recognition of the positive sporting spirit and professional image that HCMC Women’s FC displayed throughout the tournament.
