Phong Phú Hà Nam Crowned Champions of the 2026 National Women’s U16 Championship
A valuable victory over Hà Nội secured the prestigious title for Phong Phú Hà Nam at the 2026 National Women’s U16 Championship.

The match between Hà Nội and Phong Phú Hà Nam was effectively the title decider of this year’s competition. Both teams had 10 points, but Phong Phú Hà Nam held the advantage on goal difference. As a result, a draw would have been enough for them to secure the title, while Hà Nội needed nothing less than a victory.
Hà Nội started the match on the front foot in search of the win. Meanwhile, Phong Phú Hà Nam maintained a solid defensive shape and looked to exploit opportunities on the counterattack. Their approach proved effective, as Nguyễn Thị Phương Thảo opened the scoring for Phong Phú Hà Nam in the 29th minute.
With nothing left to lose, Hà Nội continued to push forward in search of an equaliser, leaving themselves exposed at the back. In reality, however, the match was played at a relatively measured tempo, with neither side creating many clear-cut chances during the opening 45 minutes.
In the second half, the capital side once again showed their determination to find an equaliser. However, just as in the opening half, Hà Nội’s efforts failed to produce the desired result. They ultimately had to settle for a 0-1 defeat and watched Phong Phú Hà Nam celebrate the championship title.
