VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan met Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina Luis Pablo Maria Beltramino
On the morning of February 16, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan met Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentina Luis Pablo Maria Beltramino and a delegation during a visit and working session at the headquarters of VFF.

Meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina and Chairman of the Vietnam Football Federation Tran Quoc Tuan, there was also Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha – VFF Deputy General Secretary.
At the meeting, the President of the Vietnam Football Federation Tran Quoc Tuan welcomed the Ambassador who spent time visiting and working at the Headquarters of VFF. VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan was pleased to share with the Ambassador about some very meaningful football cooperation activities between the two countries such as: The Argentina U20 team played a friendly match with the Vietnam U20 team in 2017 at Vietnam, in the preparation for the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup; or the two countries’ futsal teams also played a friendly match in 2016. Ambassador Luis Pablo Maria Beltramino congratulated the President of the Vietnam Football Federation Tran Quoc Tuan on his re-election to the position of Standing Member of the AFC for the term 2023-2027 and that Vietnamese football has made progress in recent years, at the same time, the Ambassador affirmed that he will be a bridge between the two football backgrounds. The ambassador also wished to be able to recreate the friendly match in 2017 between Vietnam U20 team and Argentina U20 team in Vietnam in the nearest time.
In June 2023, the Vietnamese Futsal team plans to go to Argentina for training and friendly matches, Ambassador Luis Pablo Maria Beltramino also pledged to create the best conditions for the team to achieve the best results at the trip.
