Opening ceremony of the football coach training course certificate ‘C’ AFC/VFF-2022
In the morning of April 01, the opening ceremony of the football coach training course certificate ‘C’ AFC/VFF-2022 held at PVF, Hung Yen.

Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Luu Quang Dien Bien – Director of Grassroots, Coaching Education and Affiliated MAs, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Course; Mrs. Nguyen Thi My Dung – Deputy General Director of PVF; Mr. Eric Abrams – Technical Director of PVF. The course has the participation of instructors: Mr. Yusuke Adachi – Technical Director of VFF; Mr. Ijiri Akira – Head coach of the national youth women’s football team; and tutors Coach Van Thi Thanh, Coach Tran Duy Quang, Coach Tran Duc Toan, Coach Dang Van Thanh and Coach Dang Duc Nhat.
Speaking at the opening of the course, Mr. Luu Quang Dien Bien – Director of Grassroots, Coaching Education and Affiliated MAs, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Course, thanked instructors Yusuke Adachi, Ijiri Akira, tutors and PVF have worked together to create the best conditions for the organization of the course. “In the past two years, football activities, including training work, have also been affected by the Covid-19 epidemic. As soon as the situation was under control, VFF coordinated with relevant units to urgently plan and organize coach training courses, in order to improve the quality of training in Vietnam, to meet the requirements of the training requirements and licensing regulations of continental and world football”.
Also at the ceremony, instructor Ijiri Akira expressed his joy when the C certificate course was held. “Even though I am Japanese, after 4 years working here, I have learnt a lot from Vietnamese football. Recently, Vietnamese football has made outstanding achievements in the international arena, but the development path is still very long and the key is to train young players. The tutor and trainees here are important factor. I hope that in the future, the tutors and trainees today will become the first C certificate instructors in Vietnam.”
On behalf of the host centre, Mrs. Nguyen Thi My Dung – Deputy General Director of PVF sent greetings to the members of the course and expressed the honor to be the host to organize this training course. “With modern facilities, PVF Youth Football Training Center wishes to contribute to the overall success of the course. Coaching is essential to the development of football and the opportunity to study with experienced instructors is invaluable. PVF Youth Football Training Center hopes to continue to accompany VFF in upcoming plans.
On behalf of the trainees who attended the training course, trainee Nguyen Hong Hai thanked the VFF, PVF and the instructors and tutors for organizing and creating conditions for the trainees to attend the course, and at the same time showing determination to study and hone the knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of youth football when returning to the locality.
The AFC/VFF-2022 certificate football coach training course will take place in 17 days from April 1 to April 17 at PVF Youth Football Training Center, Van Giang, Hung Yen.
