Start the AFC/VFF ‘B’ Coaching Certificate Course – Module 2
Today (December 1) at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation, the AFC/VFF ‘B’ Coaching Certificate Course – Module 2 started. This is the continuation of module 1 which held in April 2022 with the teaching of the Technical Director at that time, Mr. Adachi Yusuke.
After the transition period in the training work of VFF, module 2 of the course continues to be implemented from December 1 to December 11, 2023, with the guidance of Technical Director Koshida Takeshi and main instructor Akira Ijiri – Head coach of the national youth women’s team.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of phase 2 of the training course, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Deputy General Secretary of LDBDVN affirmed that LDBDVN will create the best conditions for students to participate in the course smoothly, at the same time. We believe that the instructors will continue to convey the latest updated content to students according to the standards of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha said that currently, VFF has been recognized by AFC as a professional member of the Coach Training Convention, which means that VFF can be proactive in training coaches, improving quality and Number of coaches for Vietnamese football. “VFF hopes that after this course, the trainees will not only serve training at the club but will continue to improve their knowledge and participate in the next courses to become football instructors in the future,” said Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha.
As the person responsible for the expertise of the training course, Technical Director Kosida Takeshi affirmed that the learning content will be implemented according to the latest curriculum. “Instructor Akira Ijiri and I had discussions with the previous instructor of the course, Mr. Adachi Yusuke, about the teaching content and comments for each trainee. Football changes every day, so after 1 year, we will have many new things to convey to trainees. Hopefully in the next 10 days, we will try together and complete the course well,” said Mr. Kosida Takeshi.
For his part, the direct instructor of the course, Mr. Akira Ijiri, expressed his determination to try his best to prepare for the course to be successful, and at the same time believes that after the past 1 year, the trainees were prepared and supported each other to achieve the best results.
Representing the leaders of the Vietnam Football Federation to attend the ceremony, General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation Duong Nghiep Khoi thanked the instructors and trainees for carefully preparing to enter module 2 and also the final period of the training course. Secretary General Duong Nghiep Khoi emphasized: “Since the end of module 1 until now, trainees have actively cultivated knowledge and experience at clubs and localities. Moving to module 2, VFF recommends that trainees continue to actively strive and comprehend well the content conveyed in the course, combining learning from practice in their own work and learning from experience of colleagues to develop one’s own abilities”.
General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation Duong Nghiep Khoi also expressed his desire to continue to cooperate with instructors in the coming time, thereby further developing the training of coaches for Vietnamese football.
The AFC/VFF ‘B’ Coaching Certificate Course – Module 2with the participation of 21 trainees will take place at the Vietnam Football Federation headquarters (Hanoi) and the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center from December 1 to December 11, 2023.
