Closing Ceremony of the 2026 National Women’s Cup

On the evening of May 27 at Thai Nguyen Stadium, the final match, closing ceremony, and award presentation of the 2026 National Women’s Cup took place, bringing the tournament to a close after a season filled with exciting matches, positive technical quality, and a strong spirit of fair play.

The closing and award ceremony was attended by Ms. Le Thi Hoang Yen, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam Sports Adminstration.

Representing the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) were Mr. Tran Anh Tu, VFF Vice President; Mr. Tran Anh Minh, Member of the VFF Executive Committee; Mr. Dao Huy Hung, Member of the VFF Women’s Football Committee; Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Member of the VFF Referees Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Phu, VFF General Secretary; Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha, VFF Deputy General Secretary and Co-Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Hoang Van Phuc, Head Coach of the Vietnam Women’s National Football Team; and Mr. Okiyama Masahiko, Head Coach of the Vietnam Youth Women’s National Teams and expert in charge of women’s youth football development.

Representing the local authorities and host unit were Mr. Duong Van Luong, Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and Vice Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee; Ms. Ha Thi Bich Hong, Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and Director of the Thai Nguyen Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Doan Van Cong, Deputy Director of the Thai Nguyen Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Co-Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Pham Ngoc Quang, Director of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Sports Training and Competition Center; and Mr. Luu Cong Son, President of the Thai Nguyen Football Federation.

Representing the tournament sponsor was Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Kha, Deputy Director of FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company – Thai Nguyen Branch.

The 2026 National Women’s Cup took place from May 13 to May 27 with the participation of six women’s football teams from across the country. Throughout the competition, the teams delivered many exciting and competitive matches, demonstrating strong determination and notable technical progress, contributing to the overall success of the tournament.
