PVF Crowned Champions of the 2026 National U17 Football Championship – Cup Rong Do
Displaying a dominant performance, PVF U17 secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Huế U17 in the final to be crowned champions of the 2026 National U17 Football Championship – Cup Rong Do.

From the opening whistle, PVF U17 took control of the game and consistently applied pressure on the Huế U17 goal. Their quick passing combinations and aggressive pressing enabled them to dominate possession and dictate the tempo for most of the first half.
The breakthrough came in the 19th minute when Nam Hiếu’s relentless pressing forced a mistake from the Huế defence. His effort was spilled by the goalkeeper, allowing Đình Sơn to react quickest and tap home from close range to give PVF the lead.
After opening the scoring, PVF continued to dominate and created a series of dangerous attacking opportunities. Huế U17, meanwhile, struggled to cope with their opponents’ superior ball control and well-organised play, relying on a disciplined defensive display to prevent the deficit from increasing before the interval.
After the restart, Huế U17 pushed further forward in search of an equaliser. However, their attacking approach also left spaces at the back for PVF U17 to exploit on the counter-attack. In the 51st minute, following a free-kick, the Huế goalkeeper failed to deal with the ball cleanly, allowing Sỹ Bách to react first and score from close range to double PVF’s advantage.
PVF continued to control proceedings for the remainder of the match and created several more dangerous opportunities. In the 87th minute, Sỹ Bách completed his brace with a composed finish from a tight angle, sealing a comprehensive 3-0 victory for the PVF Academy side.
The convincing win over Huế U17 saw PVF U17 crowned champions of the 2026 National U17 Football Championship Finals – Red Bull Cup. It also marked the club’s fifth National U17 title, reaffirming PVF’s status as one of Vietnam’s leading youth football academies.
