Vietnam National Championship Division 3 2022 officially started: 14 entries, 2 tickets for promotion.
After a season being interrupted by the covid-19 pandemic, the National Championship Division 3 will return starting off with the qualifying round of the 2022 season.
Vietnam National Championship Division 3 2022 will have 14 teams which are split into 2 groups. Group A consisted of: Luxury Ha Long, Phu Yen, Tre CAND, Tre Ha Noi, Tre SLNA and Vi Tri Vang Kon Tum. An Giang, Ben Tre, Dong Thap, Dugong Kien Giang, Nutifood football academy, Tay Ninh, Tre Can Tho and Tre Long An football club are belong in the group B.
All matches will be based on a one-turn circulating scoring format, ranked in each group. Two teams with the highest ranking in each group will participate in the finals.
In the finally, the 4 team will be split into 2 matches. Winner of each match will get the chance to compete in the National Championship Division 2 2023.
All the finally matches will be played in a knockout stage format. If time ran out and the score is a tie, the winner will be decided with a penalty shoot-out.
According to the schedule, group A’s matches will take place at the Viet Nam football training center from the 11th to the 25th of October 2022. Group B’s matches will take place at the Thanh Long Stadium (Ho Chi Minh City) from the 6th to the 10th of October 2022.
The finals will be held on the last day of October 2022. The location will later be announced.
This afternoon (10/5), the organizing committee has arranged the schedule for group B. The first match of the season on October 6th will be between Nutifood academy and Tay Ninh. Next will be the matches between: Dugong Kien Giang and Ben Tre, Tre Long An and An Giang, Dong Thap and Tre Can Tho.
The schedule for group A will be announced after the drawing ceremony held at the VFF headquarter on the 10th of October
