The two semifinal matchups for the 2024 U20 National Futsal Championship have been determined
At the end of the fifth round today (September 12), the 2024 U20 National Futsal Championship has determined the four teams advancing to the semifinals: Saigon Titans TP.HCM, Thái Sơn Bắc, Tân Hiệp Hưng TP.HCM, and Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM.

Among the four matches in the final round of the group stage, the game between U20 Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM and U20 Hà Nội garnered the most attention as it directly affected the remaining qualification spot from Group A. Both teams had 6 points each before the match.
After the opening whistle, both teams engaged in an exciting, back-and-forth battle. Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM, in particular, showed a sense of urgency, knowing they needed a win to advance.
Despite the relentless attacking efforts from both sides, neither team could break the deadlock. It wasn’t until the 37th minute that Thái Sơn Nam TP.HCM’s persistent efforts were rewarded, with Nguyễn Huỳnh Tuấn Việt scoring the only goal of the match.
This result allowed Coach Nguyễn Bảo Trung and his team to finish the group stage in second place in Group A with 9 points, securing a spot in the semifinals.
In the other match of Group A, U20 Luxury Hạ Long was deemed to have forfeited due to not having the required number of players before the match. Consequently, U20 Saigon Titans TP.HCM was awarded a 3-0 victory and topped Group A with a perfect 12 points.
In Group B, U20 Thái Sơn Bắc and U20 Tân Hiệp Hưng drew 2-2, both securing spots in the semifinals. In the remaining match, U20 Sahako and U20 Quảng Nam also ended in a draw, with a total of 6 goals scored.
As a result, U20 Thái Sơn Bắc topped the group with 10 points, 3 points ahead of U20 Tân Hiệp Hưng, who finished in second place. U20 Quảng Nam ended up at the bottom of the group with only 2 points.
