31 teams compete in the qualifying round of the 2025 National U15 Football Championship
On the morning of June 3, the draw ceremony for the qualifying round of the 2025 National U15 Football Championship was held online. The event was chaired by Mr. Nguyễn Minh Châu, Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee. Representatives from participating teams and youth football training centers across the country attended the ceremony.

This year’s qualifying round of the National U15 Football Championship has attracted the participation of 31 teams, divided into six groups, with matches hosted in six different localities. Teams will compete in a double round-robin format (home and away) to accumulate points and determine rankings. At the end of the qualifying stage, the top team from each group and the five best second-placed teams will advance to the Final Round.
The tournament is set to kick off on June 19, 2025. It is a key competition within the national youth football system, held annually to provide valuable match experience for U15 players—a crucial age group for the development of technical skills, tactics, physical fitness, and football intelligence.
The championship also offers an opportunity for youth academies to showcase the quality of their training programs, while enabling scouts and talent recruiters of Vietnamese football to identify promising young players for the future U16 and U17 national teams.
With the enthusiastic participation of local teams, thorough preparation from the clubs, and professional organization by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the qualifying round of the 2025 National U15 Championship promises to be an exciting and competitive tournament, offering many high-quality matches.
- Group A: Thể Công Viettel, Hà Nội, Hải Phòng, , Nam Định, Trung tâm Bóng đá Đào Hà.
- Group B: PVF, Đông Á Thanh Hóa, Sông Lam Nghệ An, , Trung tâm HL&TĐTDTT Hà Nội, Thể Công Viettel II, đội B5.
- Group C: LPBank HAGL, SHB Đà Nẵng, Hồng Lĩnh Hà Tĩnh, , Quảng Nam, Huế.
- Group D: Đắk Lắk, Bình Định, Kon Tum, Đắk Lắk, Quảng Ngãi, Hồng Lạc Lâm Đồng.
- Group E: TT TDTT Thống Nhất, Khánh Hòa, Đồng Tháp, An Giang, Cần Thơ.
- Group F: Bình Phước, Công An Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu, Bình Thuận, Tiền Giang, Tây Ninh, Phú Yên.
